Apartments in OrebicOrebic is a small town with 4 000 inhabitants, and it is considered to be the cradle of seamen and captains. Their history is preserved even today and can be seen in the Maritime Museum. Orebic is the most visited town on the Peljesac peninsula, and its port connects Peljesac and the island of Korcula via ferry. Tourists are mosly interested in the mountain of Sv. Ilija (961 m), which is known for its magnificent view over the island of Korcula and the Adriatic Sea. On a nearby hill the Franciscan monastery with a valuable museum must be visited. In Orebic many restaurants and coffee places are known for its gastronomical offer and for some of the best Croatian vines like “Dingac”, “Postup” and “Peljesac”. Orebic also offers to visitors an irresistible beauty of its crystally clear sea and beautiful gravel beaches.
