LOKVA ROGOZNICA (RUSKAMEN- hamlet of Lokva Rogoznica)
Lokva Rogoznica is a small place located in the heart of Dalmatia, in the area of the Omis Riviera, about 10 km from Omis. The place is characterized by a series of beautiful, gravel beaches and it's an ideal place for a peaceful, familiy holiday.
Every year in August Fishermen's nights take place, with lots of fun and entertainment, and the young can experience the exciting night life in nearby places. Besides bathing in the crystal, blue sea, enjoying the peace and quiet, clean fesh air and virginal nature, this area is an ideal starting point for numerous excursions. The nearness of popular tourist destinations gives guests the possibility of enjoying historical and cultural monuments of this part of Croatian Adriatic. The place is situated halfway between two main destinations: Makarska (28 km south-east, taking the Adriatic Highway) and Split (28 km westward).
