 Pisak
is a picturesque small place located in the central- Dalmatia, 16 km
south from Omis and 18 km north-west from Makarska. It's an ideal place
for a peaceful and relaxing familiy holiday, far from the city noise
and traffic. The place is situated in a in bay with sandy , pebble and
stone beaches. The sea is crystal clean. In the local port there are
couple of restaurants and konobas (taverns) where you can taste
Dalmatian specialities, homemade wine, orahovica nad rakija
(traditional Dalmatian alcoholic beverages). Sports and recreation
lovers can rent a boat, enjoy diving, windsurfing and sailing. About
one kilometre from Pisak there is a natural phenomenon Vrulja – a
beautiful bay surrounded by untouched nature with small springs of
water coming from the sea bottom. In the vicinity of Vrulja there are
numerous beautiful pebble beaches.
