 Gradac
is a tourist place near the Makarska Riviera, it is located 44 km from
Makarska and 13 km from Ploce. There is the longest and the most
beautiful beach – Gornja vala. The place has its own port, protected
from winds, so that boats and yachts are always safe. Apart from
beautiful beaches and crystal, blue sea, guests have at disposal
quality and diverse accomodation in apartments, rooms, board and
lodging or hotels. There are various possibilities for sports and
recreation: tennis courts, water sports, diving clubs, cycling,
sailing… During the summer, attractive local festivities are held,
there are also numerous restaurants with live music and dance floors in
the open.
The walls dating back to the Roman Age, remains of Roman
baths, granite walls, sarcophagus and coins have been discovered in the
area of Crikvina.
There are numerous possibilities for excursions:
nearby islands Hvar and Korcula, the peninsula Peljesac, the valley of
the river Neretva, Dubrovnik, Međugorje…
