 Supetar
is a lively Mediterranean city on the northern side of Brac, and at the
same time it's center. It is famous for its architecture, interesting
past and rich cultural tradition. It is very well connected with Split
by ferryboat. Due to its long, beautiful gravel and sand beaches
surrounded with pine woods, and for its crystal blue sea it has
acquired a reputation as a wonderful bathing resort.  The
coast around Supetar, between Mirca in the west and Splitska in the
east, delight guests of all ages. Everything is easily reachable there:
restaurants, stores, post-office, bank, market, cinema, galleries,
health services, different sports facilities (tennis courts, diving,
sailing, fishing, bike renting, row-boat renting and pedalines, water
skiing, scooter renting and motorized boats...) Free concerts, folk
nights, theatre performances and all kinds of events that are organized
by the Cultural Summer of Supetar will make the guests' vacations even
more interesting.
